The last thing we ought to be doing is adding more micromanagement to the economic game. Originally posted by Catalytic:It's an RTS game, not a city-builder. Not on the position of distance from river or relatively to the map but to the mapS Maybe also having this DEPENDANT ON THE MAP! That would be amazing. maybe x minutes then an upgrade that makes that extend to 10 minutes maybe before renewal. So after x time the game could make your mill "spoil". It would be a mere thing like idling managmeent is, but introducing this thing of also "pre buying the renewal and also maybe refertilization of the field" would be a cool thing to have in the future, also for putting some more immersive authenticity and realism, of which, I can't hide on this, I am hyper interested in. I know this would attract a lot of negative thoughts, but I think to make AOE III DE more interesting (with also all the various things that could make in the game happen or just not as it would create issues in balancing or maybe yes, as it would help balancing) I think the AOE II thing (I don't play AOE II since 2 decades, I am not a fan anymore, I think would be good for AOE III DE.
